Vegan Grilled Cheese Sandwich with tomatoes

Easy and Simple Vegan Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 810 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of plant-based butter
  • 2 slices of vegan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut your tomatoes into halves and set aside.
  2. Set a pan to medium heat on your stovetop.
  3. Put half of your plant-based butter into the pan and cook until the butter is completely melted.
  4. Place a slice of bread onto the pan, directly onto the butter. This method is a hack to remove the need to butter your bread before frying. Told you it would be easy!
  5. Lay on your slices of vegan cheese, place your tomatoes on top of the cheese slices, then finally top with a slice of bread.
  6. Cook until the slice of bread touching the pan is golden brown, about 2-4 minutes

  7. Add the other half of plant-based butter to the pan and then flip and cook again until the other side of your bread is golden brown, about 2-4 minutes.
