- 2 slices of bread
- 8–10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of plant-based butter
- 2 slices of vegan cheese
Instructions
- Cut your tomatoes into halves and set aside.
- Set a pan to medium heat on your stovetop.
- Put half of your plant-based butter into the pan and cook until the butter is completely melted.
- Place a slice of bread onto the pan, directly onto the butter. This method is a hack to remove the need to butter your bread before frying. Told you it would be easy!
- Lay on your slices of vegan cheese, place your tomatoes on top of the cheese slices, then finally top with a slice of bread.
- Cook until the slice of bread touching the pan is golden brown, about 2-4 minutes
- Add the other half of plant-based butter to the pan and then flip and cook again until the other side of your bread is golden brown, about 2-4 minutes.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
